How to take the correct measurement?

Please follow the following steps to get the accurate measurement of your existing sofa leg.

  1. Unplug or remove one of your existing sofa legs.
  2. Use measure tape to check its specification of height, across top, across bottom, and the widest diameter (see pictures)

  4. Do not forget to measure the hanger bolt size. 18 threads x 5/16" diameter is the most common size in the US and all of our bolts are in this size ONLY.
  5. Once you done the measurement, then you may have better idea about how to choose the new legs from our website.
  6. Please notice that all of our hanger bolts are 5/16". If you existing hanger bolt is 3/8", which means the hole in the sofa in bigger than ours hanger bolt. Therefore, you need to purchase T-nut or metal plate (square or triangle looking) additionally.
  7. Two ways to get this done:
    • Buy the T-nut from us during the check out; or
    • take one of the new legs to hardware shop, such as Home Depot or Lowe's for assistance.
